Short bio:
I am an MPHIL student at UNSW working in Social Robotics and Embodied AI.
I am currently working with the Pepper robot by Softbank JP, to enhance its social capabilities for human-robot interaction (HRI), such as multimodal interaction through movement.
My interest lies in human-aligned robotics, and bridging psychology with cognitive neuroscience for robotics, especially in emotion research.
My background includes a dual Bachelors of Software Engineering (Hons) and Marketing at UNSW, where my honours thesis was in eXplainable AI (XAI) and published in AJCAI 2024.
I also have experience working in events and hospitality at convention centres, being able to learn about the many potential use-cases and challenges that can face Social Robotics in the future.
